SJW SCHOOL OF ENGLISH was founded in 1952, is recognised by the BRITISH COUNCIL and has been a member of ARELS since 1965. SJW specialises in INTENSIVE ENGLISH LANGUAGE CLASSES FOR ADULTS FROM OVERSEAS.
ADULT LEARNERS ONLY - At SJW, we never mix adults with young learners! The minimum age of students at SJW is 18 years old. The average age is 25-30.
VERY SMALL GROUPS - THE MAXIMUM NUMBER of students per class on MAINCOURSE and in CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY EXAM CLASSES is 8. The maximum number on SUMMERCOURSE is 10. All courses offer 25 lessons per week of speaking, listening, reading and writing practice. Each lesson lasts 50 minutes.
EXAM PASS GUARANTEE - ON SJW SCHOOL'S CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY FIRST CERTIFICATE, ADVANCED CERTIFICATE & PROFICIENCY CERTIFICATE COURSES, students who fail the exam can retake the course and exam at no extra cost.
HOMESTAY with a local host family costs ú105 per week for a single room, breakfast and dinner.
